Tenugui, literally "hand-wiper", traditionally is a thin Japanese hand towel made from cotton.
However over time it's started to be used as kind of kakejiku or wall hanging/decor.
In Japanese folklore, the Takarabune or "Treasure Ship", is a mythical ship piloted through the heavens by the Seven Lucky Gods during the first three days of the New Year.

"Hand-dyed tenugui with a pattern of Kaonashi and the gods from Spirited Away on a treasure ship!
Because it is dyed with a traditional method (chusen), the more you use it, the more it will become familiar and the colors will deepen.
Both ends of the tenugui are left uncut."
